The A-469 or the C-4320 are good choices for doing so.
From there, you can start by trying to reach the center of the cloaked areas of the map. It is one of the most versatile trucks in the game. Start by driving south along the wide road until you get to the end of it, where you will find a C-4320 to unlock.

Don’t worry about objectives to start with, just learn how to drive the truck. You will then just be dropped into a truck, the A-469. It contains all of the trucks, and has examples of pretty much all of the terrain types featured in Spintires. It will give you a good introduction to the basics of the game. I would start with the Coast map on normal difficulty.

Successfully completing a trial for the first time will unlock the use of dashboard toys in Sandbox Mode. When you first start the game, you will be given a choice of maps. Furthermore, limitations will be applied compared to the Sandbox Mode, such as: no map view, no refueling, no recovery and/or a time limit.
#Spintires tutorial upgrade#
Mode in SnowRunner featuring a custom map, usually of small size, where the player has to complete a mission with a provided vehicle, without being able to use other vehicles or upgrade the vehicle itself.
DLC vehicles no longer spawn in the garage when starting a new game. Fuel trailers and addons are empty when bought and must be refilled at a fuel station. Deploying a vehicle to a connected region costs 10 to any other region. Deploying a vehicle in a garage now costs money. Prices are based on individual repair points and number of spare tires. Service trailers and addons can only be replenished at new Resupply zones. Refueling at fuel stations now costs money. Contests are limited to 3 attempts and will become locked after the 3rd attempt. #Spintires tutorial full#
Players must pay money to repair the vehicle to full condition:
Vehicles are no longer automatically repaired when recovered to garages. The only way to remove them is to destroy them.
All vehicles and upgrades are sold at 50% of their full value. Auto loading cargo now costs 150 per unit of cargo to load. Recovering vehicles now costs money depending on the vehicle class. Unloading zones however are still marked on the map. Objective markers are removed and replaced with marker zones that show the area of where the objective is located. Phase 4 of SnowRunner adds a new hard mode to further increase the difficulty of the game. Wheels will auto-steer and force the truck to move downhill on slopes. Its engine has less power and will stall. A damaged truck will struggle to steer. Navigation is limited to the distance and position of next route node. #Spintires tutorial manual#
Only manual loading available at Log Kiosks or scavenge stations.
Diff lock can't be engaged while using automatic gearbox mode, and can damage the truck when driving on hard surfaces. Garages require double the number of points to unlock.
Only 2 additional trucks instead of 4 will spawn on the map. Fuel consumption is lower then in Hardcore Mode. Damaging the truck doesn't change the parameters.
